To the Championship. And Way Beyond: FC St. Pauli Blind Football

The story of blind football at FC St. Pauli is one of success: four German championship titles, numerous trophies, and a pioneering role as one of the first teams in Germany to have made a decisive contribution to the very existence of the sport and the Blind Football Bundesliga.

But blind football at FC St. Pauli has always been about more than leagues, points and goals. The sport is used as a space for learning and shared experiences, a place where teamwork and inclusion are put into practice. The cooperation between blind and visually impaired with sighted people is at the heart of blind football.

This exhibition tells the story of a remarkable sport and of the people who have made it possible and successful at FC St. Pauli. Guided by one clear principle: “Keep Your Mind Wide Open.”
